Explanation

All seven classical planets aspect the 7th place from themselves in this teaching model.

Mars additionally aspects the 4th and 8th; Jupiter the 5th and 9th; Saturn the 3rd and 10th. The app derives these targets from the planet’s house.

Special Rahu/Ketu aspects are intentionally not automated because teaching lineages differ. The course labels this as a convention rather than silently choosing one.

Aspects and conjunctions are geometry before they are interpretation. First establish who is aspecting whom, or which planets share a sign, and only then discuss what that relationship may mean.

Keep the ordinary full-sign Parashari aspect rules separate from degree-based Drik Bala. They answer different questions and the app intentionally presents them in different labs.

Step by step

  1. Locate the aspecting planet.
  2. Count to the target house/sign using the rule in the lesson.
  3. Verify whether that aspect is one of the planet’s full aspects.
  4. For conjunction, verify same-sign placement and then inspect degree separation separately.
  5. Write the geometry first, interpretation second.

Key points

  • Aspect direction matters.
  • Conjunction does not mean identical degree.
  • Drik Bala uses a different degree-based model from the full-sign teaching aspects.

Common mistake

Do not mix every aspect convention into one table. Use the rule profile shown by the relevant lab.

Do it yourself

  1. Select one planet in Kundli Lab.
  2. Predict its full aspect houses from memory.
  3. Compare with the rule engine and correct your count before interpreting anything.

Check yourself

Which planets have special full aspects beyond the 7th?

Show answer

Mars (4th/8th), Jupiter (5th/9th), and Saturn (3rd/10th).

  • Drik Bala
