Follow the D1 10th lord

The 10th lord carries the house into the sign and house it occupies.

Explanation

After identifying the 10th lord, note its D1 house, sign and dignity.

Then add its functional role for the current Ascendant. A planet can be a 10th lord while simultaneously owning another house, so one-word labels lose information.

Career practice is not a job-title generator. Start with the D1 10th house/lord, then use D10 to refine the professional layer, and bring in Dasha/Transit only for timing context.

Keep “career themes” distinct from “a specific employer, salary or profession.” The chart can provide a traditional evidence structure, but it does not uniquely determine a real-world occupation.
