Explanation

Sixty Virupas make one Rupa in the standard Shadbala presentation.

A classical total is meaningful only when every required component uses a validated convention. The current Shadbala Lab computes four factors but does not pretend the missing Kala and Cheshta values are zero.

The “partial” column is therefore an audit convenience, explicitly not a Shadbala total or strong/weak verdict.

Shadbala is a component system, not one magical number. Read each Bala separately and ask what dimension it measures before looking at any sum.

This course intentionally labels unvalidated components as pending. A partial audit sum must never be renamed “full Shadbala”; transparency is more important than completing a table with uncertain formulas.

Step by step

  1. Select one of the seven classical planets.
  2. Read each available Bala component separately.
  3. Open its sub-component audit where provided.
  4. Note source-profile choices such as Drekkana Bala.
  5. Do not compare a partial audit sum with a classical full-Shadbala threshold.

Key points

  • 60 Virupas = 1 Rupa.
  • Different Bala components measure different dimensions.
  • Pending components remain visibly pending.

Common mistake

Do not convert the current partial Shadbala audit into a definitive “strong/weak planet” ranking.

Do it yourself

  1. Open Shadbala Lab and choose one planet.
  2. Explain what Sthana, Dig, Naisargika and Drik Bala each measure.
  3. Identify which components are still withheld and why that matters.

Kala and Cheshta Bala are not yet parity-validated in this codebase.

  1. Shadbala Lab
