How grahas are written inside the chart

Read planet abbreviations without confusing them with the Rashi number or the house position.

Explanation
After you know the house and its Rashi, read the graha abbreviations written in that same compartment. A compartment may contain no graha, one graha or several grahas.
Common English abbreviations are Su (Sun), Mo (Moon), Ma (Mars), Me (Mercury), Ju (Jupiter), Ve (Venus), Sa (Saturn), Ra (Rahu) and Ke (Ketu). Our Hindi view uses short Devanagari labels.
The Rashi number belongs to the entire compartment; it is not attached to one specific planet. If House 10 contains Rashi 11 and shows Ma · Me · Sa, then Mars, Mercury and Saturn are all in Aquarius and all occupy the 10th whole-sign house.
Exact degrees are not reliably communicated by a tiny chart label, so our planet table gives the full sign degree, Nakshatra, Pada, house and retrograde/direct status. Use the diagram to orient yourself and the table for precision.
Multiple planets in one Rashi are a conjunction at the same-sign level used by this course, but you should still check their exact angular separation before assuming they are tightly conjunct.

- Locate the fixed house position.
- Read the Rashi number in that position.
- Name the Rashi and its lord.
- Identify occupants and exact planet data.
- Explain the observation without predicting an event.

Common mistake
Do not skip the decoding step because a familiar planet or sign catches your eye. One isolated placement is not the whole chart.
Do it yourself
- Open Kundli Lab and identify Houses 1, 4, 7 and 10 without using any printed house number.
- Choose one house and write: House → Rashi → lord → lord placement.
- Check your sentence against the house inspector before moving on.

ग्रह-संक्षेप को राशि अंक और भाव-स्थान से अलग पहचानना सीखें।
भाव और उसकी राशि पहचानने के बाद उसी खाने में लिखे ग्रह-संक्षेप पढ़ें। किसी खाने में कोई ग्रह न हो सकता है, एक ग्रह हो सकता है या कई ग्रह एक साथ हो सकते हैं।
सामान्य अंग्रेज़ी संक्षेप हैं: Su सूर्य, Mo चंद्र, Ma मंगल, Me बुध, Ju गुरु, Ve शुक्र, Sa शनि, Ra राहु, Ke केतु। हमारी हिंदी दृश्य में छोटे देवनागरी संकेत दिखते हैं।
राशि अंक पूरे खाने का है; वह किसी एक ग्रह से जुड़ा अंक नहीं है। यदि दशम भाव में राशि 11 है और Ma · Me · Sa लिखा है, तो मंगल, बुध और शनि तीनों कुंभ राशि में तथा पूर्ण-राशि पद्धति से दशम भाव में हैं।
छोटे चार्ट-चिह्न में सटीक अंश स्पष्ट दिखाना व्यावहारिक नहीं, इसलिए ग्रह तालिका में पूर्ण राशि-अंश, नक्षत्र, पाद, भाव और वक्री/मार्गी स्थिति दी जाती है। दिशा समझने के लिए चार्ट और सटीकता के लिए तालिका देखें।
एक ही राशि के कई ग्रह इस पाठ्यक्रम के same-sign स्तर पर युति हैं, लेकिन उन्हें बहुत निकट युति मानने से पहले वास्तविक अंशीय दूरी भी देखें।
चरण-दर-चरण
- भाव की निश्चित जगह पहचानें।
- उस जगह का राशि अंक पढ़ें।
- राशि और उसके स्वामी का नाम बताएं।
- स्थित ग्रह और उनका सटीक डेटा पहचानें।
- घटना की भविष्यवाणी किए बिना केवल तथ्य समझाएँ।

- बड़ा अंक = राशि।
- खाने की जगह = भाव।
- अक्षर/संक्षेप = ग्रह।
- विस्तृत तालिका = सटीक अंश, नक्षत्र, पाद और गति।
सामान्य गलती
किसी परिचित ग्रह या राशि को देखकर चार्ट-डिकोडिंग का चरण न छोड़ें। एक अकेली स्थिति पूरी कुंडली नहीं होती।
खुद करके देखें
- कुंडली लैब खोलें और बिना किसी लिखे भाव नंबर के भाव 1, 4, 7 और 10 पहचानें।
- एक भाव चुनकर लिखें: भाव → राशि → स्वामी → स्वामी की स्थिति।
- आगे बढ़ने से पहले अपने वाक्य को हाउस इंस्पेक्टर से मिलाएँ।

यदि दशम भाव में 11 और “Ma · Me · Sa” लिखा है तो उसका क्या अर्थ है?
